Afya Zone
Step into FuTopia and the first thing that finds you isn't a stage or a soundsystem — it's the Afya Zone, a wellness sanctuary pitched right at the festival gates where culture, creativity and change begin with you. Grab a stamp card and let the tent carry you through three unfolding movements...
Rest
Restore
Rejuvenate
You Arrive to a hydration bar pouring hibiscus and lemongrass, cucumber and mint - because, as the card reminds you, maji ni uhai, water is life..
You Reset in the beating heart of the tent: a three-minute scalp release that drops your shoulders before you notice, a 60-second glow check from Dr. Jenny, and a herbal table of Zanzibar's own lemongrass, lavender and peppermint to smell, hold, and tuck into your pocket for later.
Then you Restore - the quietest corner of FuTopia, where three slow breaths do measurable things to a festival-tired nervous system, and where the invitation to something more begins to glow.
That something more waits on the Sebule rooftop, where the fifth and final stamp is earned in ten unhurried minutes of sunset yoga - the most beautiful, most photographable moment of the whole weekend, and the door to Sunday's Sebule Evening for just 25 guests.
Every station leaves you with a postcard, a Swahili proverb, a small truth to carry home: pumzika ili upate nguvu - rest, so that you may gain strength. The Afya Zone is FuTopia's reminder that the biggest celebration of the weekend might just be the one your body throws when someone finally asks it how it's doing.
