FuTopia is a 3-day festival (Aug 29–31, 2025) in Fumba Town, Zanzibar, celebrating creativity, culture, and community. Expect global street food, live music, traditional crafts, artisan markets, eco-workshops, upcycled fashion, and activities for all ages.

It’s more than a festival - it’s a community experience where culture, sustainability, and creativity meet on the oceanfront. Enjoy hands-on workshops, art, food, music, and a shared spirit of connection.

● Daytime (Free) – Aug 30–31, 10 AM–5 PM, Fumba Town Gardens (near main roundabout) ● Evening (Ticketed) – Aug 29–31, 6 PM–late, Fumba Town Beach

Free themed zones and activities for all: ● Afya Zone – Wellness & self-care ● Eco Village – Sustainability & gardening ● Food Art Street – Culinary creativity ● Kids Zone – Play & learning ● Asili Games Zone – Traditional & modern games ● Kwetu Kwenu Market – Local crafts & produce ● Plus: Open mic, comedy, creative recycling workshops, and community activities.

Live beachside performances and special events every night, including: ● Artists: Bensoul, Rosa Ree, Damian Soul, Uwaridi Female Band, Wamoto Band, Tryphon Evarist, Bonj, Humphrey Mubba, Tribal Natives ● DJs: DJ KCM, DJ Yusuf ● Cheza Mania Dance Competition ● ReUzi Wear Upcycling Fashion Show ● Ngalawa traditional boat race (in collaboration with Dimani & Nyamanzi villages)

Shuttle buses run hourly from (Fri 29th from 5pm, Sat 30th & Sun 31st from 10 AM) from key points in Zanzibar. ● Line 1: Forodhani → Mbweni (5k) → Chukwani (High View) → Fumba ● Line 2: Kisonge → Kwa Mchina Mwanzo → Mombasa Roundabout → Fumba ● Fee: 2,000 TSH. ● Join the WhatsApp group for your line to get Live Location updates from conductors.
