Getting There
Fumba Town is ~30 minutes from Stone Town and Karume International Airport. Festival shuttles run both nights, and local taxis know the way β or share a ride with your crew.
Where to Stay
Sleep steps from the stage β eco-apartments in Fumba Town and boutique stays along the south coast. Book early; August is high season.
At the Gate
Bring your ticket QR and β for Tanzanian, EAC and African-passport passes β the matching valid ID. Gates open 5:30 pm for the night shows.
Which pass do I need? +
Tanzanian citizen with valid ID β Tanzanian pass (TZS 29,000).
East African resident or African passport holder β Africa United (TZS 55,000).
Everyone else β International (TZS 105,000).
Want lounge comfort and VIP service? β VIP (TZS 209,000).
Is the daytime really free? +
Yes β all daytime zones at Fumba Town Park are free for everyone, both days. Tickets are only for the evening shows at the beach.
What ID counts for the discounted passes? +
Tanzanian pass: NIDA, Zanzibar ID, TZ passport or voting card. Africa United: valid African passport or EAC residence permit. Driving licences are not accepted.
Can I get a refund? +
Until 20 July: 40% of the ticket balance. From 21 July: no refunds. A 5% admin fee on all sales is non-refundable.
